About The Seneca Yacht Club
Seneca Yacht Club was born from a lifelong love of the Potomac River. Founders Steve and Denise Matheny grew up spending their days on the water and continue to explore the river today aboard their beloved 1970 pontoon boat, Tuna.
Years ago, a group of family and friends came together to build the dock that now serves as the heart of our gatherings. What began as a place to enjoy the river with loved ones has grown into an opportunity to share this special corner of the Potomac with others.
As a family-run business, our goal is simple: to create memorable experiences that bring people together and foster a deeper appreciation for the beauty, community, and slower pace of life found along the river.
